The Indie Meme Film Festival will return for it's 10th anniversary edition from April 9th-13th, 2025 —bringing the best of independent South Asian and Iranian cinema to Austin with in-person screenings, Q&As, mixers, and filmmaker events.
Indie Meme has hosted screenings & conversations featuring some of South Asian & Iranian cinemas most compelling voices, including: Adil Hussain, Payal Kapadia, Pan Nalin, Fawzia Mirza, Shaunak Sen, Panah Panahi, Sarmad Khoosat, Azmeri Haque Badhon, Shuchi Talati, Nishtha Jain, Sarvnik Kaur, P.S Vinothraj, Sona Mohapatra, Rajat Kapoor, Arun Karthick, Pawo Choyning Dorji, Hardik Mehta, Shahrbanoo Sadat & many more.
Submissions are currently open for narrative features, documentaries, & shorts. The submission deadline is January 31st, 2025.
